How to Activate your AYSOU Account through your Blue Sombrero Account

In order to activate your AYSOU account you need to first update your volunteer record and then activate your account. Please follow these steps:

  1. Update your Volunteer record, please follow the below steps:
    1. Login to your Region’s Blue Sombrero account where you registered as a volunteer.
    2. Click on the Volunteer Tab, which is located on the left hand corner of your screen.

     
  2. Click on “Details” under your volunteer record.

  3. You will see your volunteer information there. Please scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on “Update”.

     
  4. Now scroll back to the top of the screen and click on “Back to My Account”.

     
  5. Click on the Home tab on the left hand side of the screen to go to your regions website page.

     
  6. Now click on the AYSOU tab on your Regions website to be automatically logged in.

     

These steps will ensure your AYSOU.org account is activated, and you will be able to access it using your same Blue Sombrero credentials.

 

How to Reset Your Blue Sombrero Password

 

If you need to reset your password on your Blue Sombrero account, follow these instructions.

Please Note: Volunteers registered in a thrid party registration system like InLeague, please contact your Region for futher assistance with your login.

  1. Go to your Region’s website where you registered as a volunteer.
     
  2. Click on the Login button that is located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

     
  3. Click on the Forgot your Username/Password? button, enter your email address, and then click on Email Reminder.

     
  4. You will receive an email with your username and a reset password link. From here, you will be taken to the site where you will be able to reset your password.
     
  5. If you do not receive your email reminder, make sure to check your spam/junk email folder.
     

Once you reset your password you will be able to enter AYSOU.org with that user name and password.

 

How to Clear Your Web Browser Cache (Desktop/Computer Browsers)

 

Clearing your web browser's cache, cookies, and history may remove data such as: saved passwords, address bar predictions, shopping cart contents, etc.
If you need to clear your cache, cookies, and history for troubleshooting purposes, but aren't yet prepared to lose the content listed above, you may want to consider using Privacy-Mode, or a different browser software as a temporary solution.

Chrome

  1. In the browser bar, enter:
       chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. At the top of the "Clear browsing data" window, click Advanced.
  3. Select the following:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
    From the "Time range" drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select: All time.
  4. Click CLEAR DATA.
  5. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Firefox

  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
  2. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
  3. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
  4. Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
  5. Click Clear Now.
  6. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Microsoft Edge

  1. In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like star with three horizontal lines).
  2. Click the History icon (looks like a clock), and then select Clear all history.
  3. Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files. Click Clear.
  4. After the "All Clear!" message appears, exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
